Progress on Newest Floral Spiral

So, even with the rough day I had yesterday, perhaps BECAUSE of the rough day I had yesterday, I started my next Flower Spiral Abstract. This is an oil painting done on a 20 inch square canvas. This is a progress photo, there is still a lot to be done! Just wanted everyone to see that I am painting daily! I need to get some more small canvas boards so I can continue doing the daily paintings. I'm really liking this one so far! Click on the image to see the details better.

Hallo Paula

And its lovely to welcome another fine artist to Art Blogs 4 U - I will be posting your name in just a moment. Your Bio will be joining the queue for posting.

Please can I ask you to email me from the blog so that I have a contact e-mail address (no-one else will see it) for you. I want to be able to send out progress reports and messages to the artists from time to time.

And please be kind enough to post a link to Art Blogs 4 U on your site - http://artblogs4u.blogspot.com.

Thank you.

Paula, I see this as a symbol of you, protecting yourself with petals in powerful and healing purple, and seeking centeredness and peace. It's beautiful and I think it's great to work out those hard to express emotions when painting, subconsciously, or consciously, they come through. It really is a healing meditation and I'm happy you have this gift, not only for us :), but for you too :)

Thanks Lesly!

Jess,
I love your interpretation of it! Thank God for this wonderful meditation/escape from life! I don't know what I would do without art in my life. In fact, art is what has kept me going for most of my life! It's also nice when someone else can enjoy it too!
